This pattern is from Lily's Sugar n Cream Crochet Favorites, circa 1940s-50s.
The design is a Kitty Cat bib and it is described as "an infant's bib that will attract attention as a shower gift. Practical and heavy, the body of the bid is crocheted of Lily Cotton Yarn or Lily Sugar n Cream Yarn and will absorb copious amounts of moisture. The features are crocheted of Lily Six Strand Embroidery Floss, appliqued afterwards."
Materials required:
Lily Sugar n Cream Yarn #930 or Lily Cotton Yarn #600 (a ball or skein each of white and red)
1 skein each of Lily Six Strand Embroidery Floss in Red, Black and Orange.
Crochet Hooks, size 1 and size 7
