Loose fitting dress or top with skirt gathered to buttoned front bodice at empire waistline seam has extended shoulder, gathered sleeve with elastic wrist casings and optional upper patch pocket, "CRAYON" applique treatment and purchased lace collar. Knee length dress or smock V. 1 has lower patch pockets. V. 2 pants have elasticized waistline. "CRAYON" appliques can be made with plastic mesh and yarn or fabric remnants. See sewing instructions for details. Square scarf with narrow hem can be made of pre-printed 18" scarf panel or plain fabric.
