Made from crochet cotton and then crisply starched, these snowflakes make perfect tree decorations, package tie-ons or decorations to hang in front of a window or mirror. Since a ball of yarn makes many snowflakes, they are also ideal for bazaars and gifts. There are 16 designs with instructions.
Several of the designs were adapted from the centers of old doilies, and others are the designer's original creations. All of the designs were stitched crocheted with bedspread weight crochet thread such as J&P Coats Knit-CroSheen, DMC Cebelia Size 10, Susan Bates Fashion-Tone, or Bucilla Wondersheen.
Contents include a stitch guide, general instructions (including instructions for working with steel hooks) plus instructions for each of the 16 snowflakes.
