Sizergh Castle
Counted Cross Stitch Kit
Sizergh Castle, near Kendal, in Cumbria has been the home of the Strickland family for over 750 years and has spanned 27 generations. In the 14th century, the original house was replaced by a pele tower capable of withstanding the Scots raids. This tower still stands proudly with its height of 18 metres and with walls 3 metres thick. This view of the castle, from the south, shows the developing vibrant colours of Boston Ivy - Parthenocissus tricuspidata - in late summer.
Package contains Aida 18 h.p.i fabric, "Anchor" stranded cotton, instruction sheet, colour photograph, charted design, thread holder and needle. Size is 18 x 33 cm (approximately 7" x 5").
This kit is new in the original package. There is some sticker residue on the front of the package.
Made in Britain, 1998
